April 11, 2018 Meeting

Our speaker for the April membership meeting is Patty Canterino, who is the Vice President for Student Development and Engagement at Immaculata College. Patricia is responsible for implementing strategic direction and leadership that focuses on enhancing the student experience and quality of life for Immaculata. For the past seventeen years Patty has served Immaculata College in the area of athletics, administration, and student life. She is very well qualified to address the many aspects of Title IX in our society. We look forward to her valuable insights from her varied experiences.

Our program will begin with a brief presentation by our branch member and Pennsylvania State Representative Carolyn Comitta (District 156). Carolyn has been appointed to Governor Wolf’s Commission for Women that is responsible for advising the Governor on policies and legislation that impact women. She will tell us about her work on the Commission and is eager to hear concerns and to seek guidance from our members.

Denise Wine and Margaret (Meg) Todd will discuss women’s financial needs and why they matter, tendencies that impact women’s financial decision-making, and actions to help build a secure financial future.
Denise is a financial consultant with Connelly and Moore Wealth Management of Wells Fargo Advisors, and Meg is a financial advisor with Wells Fargo Clearing Services. Denise has over 20 years in business/marketing management. Her practice focuses on high-net worth women, couples, family trusts, and foundation work. She is active in the community with the Chester County Fund for Women and Girls, Rotary Club of West Chester, March of Dimes Women of Achievement, and the Delaware County SPCA. She attended Colorado Women’s College, Lebanon Valley College, and Wharton School of Business Leadership Program. Meg has over 30 years in financial services. She provides customized wealth management to high-net worth clients, and is passionate about providing financial education to women, empowering them to navigate life’s transitions with confidence. She is a graduate of Bucknell University with a BA in economics, and is active in extracurricular activities with her children.
